New Mexico Software Signs New Customers and Accelerates Sales

    Risk Factors
  • Ability to conclude licensing and marketing agreements necessary to successfully penetrate targeted markets
  • Potential competition from larger, better-funded companies
  • Ability to strengthen cash flow and the balance sheet

The Outlook Since the beginning of 2006, New Mexico Software has been restructuring how it sells its products. In the past, the company has faced some challenges developing a sales force and distribution channels in order to market its products.

NMXC's goal remains to build regular recurring revenue and put less emphasis on custom programming. NMXC has added more customer support personnel to handle the new customers that are signing on to its medical software systems and document management products.

The evolution in the company's business model is continually adding stability and strength to the company. Many of its customers have been with them for more than 10 years, including nearly all of its longest-standing customers in the entertainment industry.

In the meantime, the market for New Mexico Software’s products is expanding. The company recently announced its foray into the international market through a joint venture with a South American medical company. NMXC's software will be offered in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Brazil.

Revenue for the first quarter of 2008 was $235,000. Net loss for the first quarter of 2008 was $73,000.
